Experiencing God in Living Life in Vitiligo -- A Book Created to Inspire

PLYMOUTH, Mass., Sept. 18, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- "God is our refuge in times of trouble. Like footsteps in the sand, he will carry you every step of the way." This is just one of the inspiring lines written by Norene L. Willis to pour meaning into people's lives. Living Life in Vitiligo is a book full of wisdom that stretches your faith making you love yourself even more.

Vitiligo is a skin disorder. In this text, the author incorporates the stigma that comes with it and the emotions that the individual goes through. The acceptance and the rejection from other people, family members, relatives and strangers dictated the way she led her life. However, discovering one's self and discovering God set her free from sorrow and despair. This book hopes to inspire millions of people with Vitiligo. Be what God designed you to become.

About the Author

Norene L. Willis was born on 4/28/43 and raised in Marion, Indiana. She is the fourth child in her mom's family. Her mom had eight children. She raised them alone.

Her granddad was the only father figure she knew. He was the one who made sure they had a way to church. As a child, she was a very shy person; she talked just above a whisper. Given the opportunity to talk, she'd lose her thoughts. During this time she also stuttered. She remembers holding onto her mom's skirt tail, walking on her heels -- too afraid of people looking at her. For years she felt she never got enough love. Most of the things she learned in life were from overhearing conversations of older girls at the high school basketball games sitting in the bleachers above them.

She has five children, two from a previous marriage. Her oldest son is deceased. She now has two sons and two daughters. She also has two grandsons and two granddaughters. She has lived in the suburbs of New England for the past thirty-four years.
