Chain Bolsters Talent Base With Key Additions to Marketing and R&D


THE COLONY, Texas, Nov. 17, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Pizza Inn, Inc. (Nasdaq:PZZI) today announced the appointments of Scott Richter as Sr. Director of Marketing and Samuel "Bud" Boswell as Executive Chef and Director of Research and Development.

Scott Richter most recently served as Sr. Media Director with Razor Driven LLC, a Dallas, TX based advertising agency whose key clients included Domino's, Wendy's, Dunkin Donuts and Baskin Robbins.

Bud Boswell brings a strong culinary background to the brand. A noted Executive Chef and research and development specialist, Bud most recently served as Corporate Executive Chef and director of purchasing for Spaghetti Warehouse. Prior to that, Bud held positions as executive chef for Boston's Pizza and Mesa SW restaurants (Blue Mesa). Bud is a graduate of the Baltimore International College with a degree in Professional Cooking.

The appointments are part of the chains' continuing effort to build the capabilities in the management team needed to meet the chains' growth objectives for the future.
