iambic Unveils First iPhone App, SnappySeeker

Popular GoogHelper Renamed to Better Reflect Its Wide-Ranging Usefulness While Injecting a Sense of Fun and Adventure

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - December 17, 2008) - iambic, Inc., a leading provider of innovative productivity-enhancing software, today unveiled its first iPhone App, SnappySeeker, a super efficient way for users to launch Internet searches with just one tap. This app, formerly known as GoogHelper, has an easy-to-use interface that can accommodate searches in 15 different categories. With the addition of the iPhone, SnappySeeker is now available for popular smartphone devices including the BlackBerry, the Palm Centro/Treo, the T-Mobile G1 running Google Android, and cell phones running Windows Mobile.

"As we expanded the availability of this handy app across more platforms and listened to the feedback from our customers, we realized that the name GoogHelper was a bit too narrowly focused," said Adriano Chiaretta, COO of iambic, Inc. "The new name, SnappySeeker, is actually more reflective of our business philosophy -- to focus on creating apps that can be easily tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual, are intuitive to use, and introduce fun ways to get more done."

Along with reducing the number of taps it takes to find what you are looking for, SnappySeeker is designed to take advantage of Google Maps as well as the mobile device's SMS/text messaging capabilities, to send searches to the Google SMS service for immediate results.

In particular, the iPhone version features integrated browsing capabilities and a "touch & scroll" navigation bar which enables users to obtain results across multiple search providers (such as Amazon, Flickr, Technorati, Wikipedia, eBay) in seconds.

Availability and Pricing:

The iPhone version of SnappySeeker can be obtained from Apple's iPhone App Store at the introductory price of $0.99. It appears in the Productivity category.

SnappySeeker is also available on Palm OS, Windows Mobile (Pocket PC and Smartphone Edition), BlackBerry and the Android platforms. It can be downloaded directly from iambic (www.iambic.com) or from partner sites, including Handango, Handmark and Mobihand.
