"FieldTurf is involved this year with a lot of bowl teams and bowl games -- and it's quite an incredible accomplishment for our company," said FieldTurf Tarkett CEO Joe Fields. "Well over 50% of every single school that's participating in a bowl game either plays their home games in a stadium that has FieldTurf and/or practices on it. This really is a proud accomplishment for FieldTurf, and we're very thankful to all of the schools who believe in our product."

FieldTurf surfaces provide for quick and efficient conversions to accommodate a wide range of important games. The turf allows stadium crews to easily customize the field to meet the extensive mid-field and end zone artwork requirements of college, pro, and high school football.

FieldTurf, the world leader in artificial turf, has mastered the science of safety and performance by engineering a sports surface that caters to ideal levels of impact absorption, rapid deceleration and energy restitution without the need for a shock pad. For the artificial turf industry, those ideal levels are known as MSP -- Maximum Safety and Performance. MSP, measured as a field's G-Max rating, is a quantifiable indication of the field's degree of hardness and ability to absorb impact.

More than 50 major NCAA universities have FieldTurf in their stadiums including Nebraska, Ohio State, Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana, West Virginia, Washington, Oregon, Boston College, Rutgers, Kansas State, Louisville and Missouri. Twenty-one of the NFL's 32 teams use FieldTurf at their stadium and/or practice facility. In addition, MLB's Tampa Bay Rays, Minnesota Twins and Toronto Blue Jays have FieldTurf at their respective stadiums.
