Munich, December 23, 2008 - The sales house for marketing advertising
ARBOmedia, Munich, has slipped into deficits within the first nine months
of the current fiscal year despite an increase in sales. The reasons for
this development were mainly special effects that were generated in the
third quarter of 2008.

All in all, the ARBOmedia group obtained sales to the amount of 57.4
million Euro in the three quarters till the end of September 2008. This
makes an increase of 13.0 per cent compared to the volume of sales last
year of 50.8 million Euro. This sales increase is mainly attributed to the
division 'internet', which obtained an increase in sales of 13.3 million
Euro.

The gross profit on sales rose to 9.7 million Euro, after the result was
8.5 million Euro end of September 2007. However, the group’s result dropped
down on -3.3 million Euro compared to -0.6 million Euro in the same period
of last year. This result was put under pressure by an adjustment for a
claim for indemnification in Spain to the amount of 1.1 million Euro and by
an initially considered latent tax expenditure to the amount of 4.7 million
Euro. This tax expenditure is based on income statement-related
consolidating entries. Consolidation profits to the amount of 2.9 million
Euro had favourable effects on the result. This can mainly be attributed to
the sale of ARBOmedia.net Praha, spol. s.r.o.

Due to the negative result the net loss increased to 39.2 million Euro
(last year: 35.3 million Euro) to 30 September 2008. The equity capital of
the group dropped from 4.0 million Euro to 0.2 million Euro.

The means of payment of the ARBOmedia group rose – also due to received
selling prices of enterprises – in total from 6.8 million Euro to 7.8
million Euro.

For the fiscal year 2008 the management of the ARBOmedia group expects an
overall deficit. The reasons for this development are the above mentioned
special effects as well as the effects of the financial crisis on the
market conditions and the related business development of the group. In
addition, further restructuring measures can have influence on the result.
