Release of a Voting Rights announcement

On 6th of January 2009 Morgan Stanley informed us as follows:

Morgan Stanley Management Limited, London, UK, on 19 December 2008, has
fallen below the threshold 5% of the voting rights of alstria office
REIT-AG, Fuhlentwiete 12, 20355 Hamburg, Germany, and on that day holds
4.95% of the voting rights (=2,771,986 shares, each carrying one voting
right) whereby these voting rights have to attributed pursuant to Section
22 para 1 sent.1 No.6 German Securities Trading Act; and

each of the following holding entities of Morgan Stanley Investment
Management Limited;

(i) Morgan Stanley, Delaware, USA; 

(ii) Morgan Stanley International Holdings Inc., Delaware, USA; 

(iii) Morgan Stanley International Limited, London, UK;

(iv) Morgan Stanley Group (Europe), London, UK;  

on 19 December 2008, has fallen below the threshold 5% of the voting rights
of alstria office REIT-AG, Fuhlentwiete 12, Hamburg, Germany.

Each of the holding entities mentioned under (ii) to (iv) on that day holds
4.95% of the voting rights (=2,771,986 shares, each carrying one voting
right) of alstria office REIT-AG, Fuhlentwiete 12, 20355 Hamburg, Germany,
whereby the aforementioned voting rights have to be attributed to each of
the entities mentioned above under (ii) to (iv) pursuant to Section 22
para. 1 sent 1 No. 6, sent. 2 German Securities Trading Act.

The holding entity mentioned under (i) on that day holds 4.96% (= 2,776,395
shares, each carrying one voting right) of alstria office REIT-AG,
Fuhlentwiete 12, 20355 Hamburg, Germany, whereby 4.95% (=2,771,986 shares,
each carrying one voting right) of the voting rights have to be attributed
pursuant to Section 22 para. 1 sent 1 No. 6, sent. 2 German Securities
Trading Act, and whereby 0.01% (=4,409 shares, each carrying one voting
right)of the voting rights have to be attributed from other subsidiaries
pursuant to Section 22 para. 1 sent 1 No. 1, German Securities Trading Act.

This chain of entities is represented as follows (starting on the highest
level):
