HiQ signs new agreement with Scalado, Mobile Company of the Year

Lund-based Scalado, which develops imaging software for mobile phones, has
signed a new agreement with HiQ for 2009. The agreement represents an extension
and increased confidence in the companies' existing cooperation, and covers
everything from development to test development and test management.

“HiQ has a specialisation and experience in embedded systems that fits in well

Scalado was established in 2000 in Lund and its business is based on unique
patented technology for handling the jpeg format. 2008 was a successful year for
Scalado; turnover increased by 150 percent, the workforce was doubled and in
November the Swedish Mobile Gala named Scalado as Mobile Company of the Year,
“for enormous successes with photo software in the world's mobile phones”. Today
Scalado's customers include four of the world's five largest mobile device
manufacturers and Scalado's applications can be found in more than 300 million
mobile phones around the world.
