Release of a Voting Rights announcement

On 13 January 2009 Allianz SE, Munich, informed us according to articles 21
(1), 24 WpHG that its voting rights in Commerzbank AG, Frankfurt am Main,
Germany, ISIN: DE0008032004, WKN: 803200, exceeded the 3%, 5, 10 and 15%
limit of the voting rights on 12 January 2009 and as of this date amounted
to 18,786% (166.444.266 voting shares).

Voting rights in Commerzbank AG amounting to 18,783% (166.416.127 voting
shares) are to be attributed according to article 22 (1) 1 No. 1 WpHG and 
voting rights amounting to 0,003 % (28.139 voting shares) are to be
attributed according to article 22 (1) 1 No. 6 WpHG.

The voting shares attributed to Allianz SE, Munich, are held through the
following companies controlled by Allianz SE, Munich, which voting rights
in Commerzbank AG amounting to 3% or more:
-Allianz Finanzbeteiligungs GmbH
-AZ-Asopos Vermögensverwaltungsgesellschaft oHG

On 13 January 2009 Allianz SE, Munich, informed us according to articles 21
(1), 24 WpHG that the voting rights of Allianz Finanzbeteiligungs GmbH,
Königinstraße 28, 80802 München, in Commerzbank AG, Kaiserplatz, 60261
Frankfurt am Main, Germany, ISIN: DE0008032004, WKN: 803200, exceeded the
3%, 5, 10 and 15% limit of the voting rights on 12 January 2009 and as of
this date amounted to 18,30% (162.147.895 voting shares). Voting rights in
Commerzbank AG amounting to 3,60% (31.930.786 voting shares) are to be
attributed according to article 22 (1) 1 No. 1 WpHG.

The voting shares attributed to Allianz Finanzbeteiligungs GmbH are held
through the following companies controlled by Allianz Finanzbeteiligungs
GmbH which voting rights in Commerzbank AG amounting to 3% or more:
-AZ-Asopos Vermögensverwaltungsgesellschaft oHG

On 13 January 2009 Allianz SE, Munich, informed us according to articles 21
(1), 24 WpHG that the voting rights of AZ-Asopos
Vermögensverwaltungsgesellschaft oHG, Königinstraße 28, 80802 München in
Commerzbank AG, Kaiserplatz, 60261 Frankfurt am Main, exceeded the 3% limit
of the voting rights and as of this date amounted to 3,60% (31.930.786
voting shares).
