PITTSBURGH, Jan. 20, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Innovative Designs, Inc. (OTCBB:IVDN) sales-to-date for the first quarter (November 1, 2008 - January 31, 2009) show significant increases in comp sales over the same period last year. The month of November showed an increase of over 400%. The trend continued into December with sales almost doubling compared to December of 2007. Sales so far for the month of January, 2009 are already doubled compared to all of January, 2008. Just two and a half months into fiscal year 2009, YTD sales have surpassed total sales for 2008.
These sales increases are attributed to the ever-growing retail base across the United States and Canada and a national television campaign that will continue to run through the season. Also the addition of new styles/colors has addressed the requests of consumers asking for more variations in the line.
