Relocation of production to strengthen Invita

Nobia DK will today commence negotiations with trade unions regarding
the relocation of the production of Invita's products from Invita's
plant in Bording to Nobia's plant in Ølgod."This is a realistic step to continue our competitiveness at Group
level. It is more efficient to consolidate production to a single
unit rather than adapt the production at two plants. Due to the more
modern equipment at Nobia's plant in Ølgod, we believe that total
volumes can be efficiently produced there," says Preben Bager,
President and CEO of Nobia."Unfortunately, the strategy will have a negative impact on the
number of positions in Bording. However, we are implementing this
strategy to strengthen our overall market position so that we are as
well equipped as possible when the economy improves."

A more precise date for the relocation in 2009 will be determined in
the negotiations.
