JCE Group AB published on March 5th, 2009 a press release with information about that the company had bought shares in Semcon AB and now controlled more then 30 per cent of the votes of the company. JCE Group AB had therefore decided, in accordance with the take over legislation, to issue a public offer to the shareholders in Semcon AB. The current rules of the NASDAQ OMX Stockholm AB state that a listed company will be placed on the observation segment if the company is subject to a public offer or if a bidder has disclosed its intention to raise such a bid in respect of the company.
With reference to what is stated above the NASDAQ OMX Stockholm AB has decided that the shares in Semcon AB (ISIN code SE0000379497 and order book ID 1054) will be placed on the observation segment.
The shares will be transferred with effect from Monday, March 9th 2009.
