FINNAIR PLC INVESTOR NEWS 6.4.2009 Finnair Technical Services and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines have signed a new contract covering maintenance for Boeing MD-11 passenger aircraft to be performed in 2009. The cooperation with KLM was launched in 2006. Last year the contract was amended with reciprocal work commitments, where Finnair Technical Services is committed to purchase technical services from the Air France-KLM group. “Finnair has an extensive experience with MD-11 technical support and it is great that we can use the expertise to serve our clients outside Finnair Group”, says Arne Ziessler, Sales Manager at Finnair Technical Services. At Technical Services more than 30 per cent of the 200 million euros annual turn over comes from customers outside Finnair Group.
