Opcon gives its partly owned company Enerji Ltd an option in several territories in addition to the Australian market Opcon AB, the energy and environmental technology Group has entered into agreement with Enerji Ltd. (ASX:ERJ). Enerji, owned to 14 % by Opcon, is Opcon's partner in Australia for the Opcon Powerbox. The agreement gives Enerji an exclusive time-limited option on the right to roll-out the co-generation deal structure with production and sale of fuel-free, emission-free electricity based on the Opcon Powerbox in a number of territories in addition to Enerji's Australian market. The territories in question are Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and Sub-Saharan Africa. The Opcon Powerbox is a product developed by Opcon for the production of new carbon-free electricity from waste heat at temperatures as low as 55°C. A standard Opcon Powerbox is at 0,74 MW and can be installed in large process-industry plants, power stations or with adaption, onboard larger ships. By utilizing waste heat, electricity is produced from a source that would otherwise go to waste.
