Securitas acquires security services company in Spain Securitas has acquired the security services company Interlabora in Spain. Enterprise value is estimated to MSEK 130 (MEUR 12). Interlabora has annual sales of approximately MSEK 94 (MEUR 8.4) and a strong financial track record. Almost all Interlabora's sales are in the Spanish retail sector. The acquisition of Interlabora will improve Securitas' position in the Spanish retail sector and allowing Securitas to expand the offer of these services throughout other sectors as well. Interlabora has approximately 390 employees, most of them disabled. The company performs different types of security services, such as fitting room control in shopping centers, access controls, telephone assistance and reception services which will complement the guarding services provided to these retail clients. The acquisition is consolidated in Securitas as of July 8, 2009.
