TECHNOPOLIS PLC STOCK EXCHANGE BULLETIN 24.8.2009 at 12.00 TECHNOPOLIS BUILDS EYE CENTER FOR TAMPERE Technopolis is building an eye center for the Joint Municipal Authority of the Pirkanmaa Hospital District in a new building on the wellbeing and healthcare campus in the Finn-Medi district in Tampere which is under development by Technopolis. The Boards of both Technopolis and the Joint Municipal Authority of the Pirkanmaa Hospital District have approved a draft lease for the new eye center. The lease will be signed as soon as the Joint Municipal Authority of the Pirkanmaa Hospital District Board decision is final. The Joint Municipal Authority of the Pirkanmaa Hospital District will rent the facilities needed from Technopolis Plc which is in charge of the construction project. The lease period is 20 years. The design and construction plan for the project will be started during the fall and the final construction start-up decision will be taken in spring 2010. The operations of the 4 800 m2 facility can be started in early 2012. The project has no impact on the 2009 financial forecast.
