Novavisions AG - Result for the first half year 2009 

Rotkreuz (Switzerland), 28 August 2009 - Novavisions AG with positive
second quarter and half year 2009.

In the 2nd quarter a profit of EUR 0,359 million resulted. This accumulates
to a half year result of EUR 0,206 after a loss of EUR - 0,153 million in
the 1st quarter. The equity ratio is 62%.

The profit from the disposal of the majority stake held on NovaStor
companies - completed end of June - as well as the good result of
discontinued operations contributed to the positive result.

Disregarding the influence of exchange rate differences (EUR to USD and
CHF) of EUR 84 thousand the half year result would amount to EUR 0,29
million or EUR 0,012 per GDR. Considering the difficult market environment
given, this is a pleasing mid-year result.

Novavisions AG's focus is the creation of added value to its shareholders
by consistently working on its current portfolio. The Board of Directors is
convinced that the value of the investments is not enough reflected by the
current market value of the company.
