Flushing Financial Corporation Completes Common Stock Offering


LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y., Sept. 22, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Flushing Financial Corporation (the "Company") (Nasdaq:FFIC), the parent holding company for Flushing Savings Bank, FSB (the "Bank"), announced today that it has completed its public offering of 8,317,400 shares of common stock at a price of $11.50 per share. The net proceeds of the offering after deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and estimated offering expenses are expected to be approximately $90.5 million.
