Indutrade expands in med-technology

5 Oct, 2009 09:35 CET

Indutrade's subsidiary has signed an agreement with Sefo Consulting AB on the
acquisition of its optics products business, with annual sales of approximately
SEK 6 million.

The business revolves around instruments, products and service for opticians,
oculists and ophthalmic clinics. The products come from leading Japanese,
American and European manufacturers.

After the acquisition of EssMed AB and Brinch AS this is Indutrade's third
acquisition in the med-technology segment.

Organisationally the business will be part of the Industrial Components
business area, which had net sales of SEK 1,401 million in 2008.

The acquisition is expected to have a marginally positive impact on Indutrade's
earnings per share.
