NASDAQ OMX Iceland hf. has decided to remove bonds issued by Nýsir hf. from trading, with reference to information in an announcement from the issuer from October 15, 2009 where the issuer has been declared bankruptcy. The decision is taken with reference to Section 8.5.1 of Rules for Issuers of Financial Instruments on The Exchange. The bonds of Nýsir hf. will be removed from trading on NASDAQ OMX Iceland hf. as of closing of trading on October 16, 2009.
