Closing of acquisition of two thirds of Brazilian Tecnosulfur S/A by SKW
Stahl-Metallurgie Holding AG

Unterneukirchen (Germany), December 23, 2009. SKW Metallurgie, a specialty
chemical group quoted in the German SDAX index, has completed the
acquisition of two thirds of the non-quoted Brazilian company Tecnosulfur
S/A headquartered in Belo Horizonte (Closing). The Signing of the
acquisition has already been announced by ad hoc release of October 29,
2009.
Parts of the proceeds of the capital increase of SKW Metallurgie recorded
on December 2, as well as external funds, are used to finance the
Tecnosulfur acquisition.
