DGAP-Adhoc: Constantin Medien AG surpasses target range for 2009 Group earnings attributable to shareholders and announces 2010 forecast

Ismaning, March 23, 2010 - Constantin Medien AG announces today that the
Group earnings attributable to shareholders for the financial year 2009
presumably amount to 12 Euro cents per share or 8.7 million Euro. As a
consequence, the target range set at 4 to 6 Euro cents or 3.1 million Euro
to 5.1 million Euro has been surpassed. This was predominantly due to the
proceeds received from two settlement agreements from both D&O insurance
companies, which arose from the damage claims asserted against former board
members of the legal predecessor, EM.TV & Merchandising AG. Not taking
these proceeds into account, the Group would have closed the year with a
significant net loss in a two-digit million Euro range, as previously
announced.
The Constantin Medien Group's sales for 2009 presumably stand at around 511
million Euro, slightly above the target figure of 500 million Euro.

Regarding the Sports Segment, the Management Board is currently predicting
balanced results for 2010. The Highlight Communications group, encompassing
the Film Segment and the Sports- and Event-Marketing Segment, plans to
register results in line with the previous year. For this reason and taking
into account the holding costs and financing costs, the Management Board is
currently projecting Group earnings attributable to the shareholders within
a range of -12 million Euro to -14 million Euro for the financial year
2010.

In respect of Group sales, the Management Board is currently projecting an
amount of between 440 million Euro and 460 million Euro for 2010.

It is further planned to publish the consolidated financial statements of
Constantin Medien AG on March 25, 2010.
