VN shareholder Vitol shows its confidence in the VN group by increasing its shareholding

JSC Ventspils nafta (VN) management has received information that Euromin
Holdings (Cyprus) Limited, a fully owned subsidiary of the Vitol group of
companies, following a recent share transaction, now owns around 49,5% of the
shares in VN, an increase of more than 1,5% versus its previous shareholding of
47.89%. 

Mark Ware, Director of Corporate Affairs for the Vitol Group, commenting on the
recent increase in shareholding, said “we have always said that Vitol is in
Latvia for the long term and our focus has been, and will continue to be, on
the successful performance of the various companies within the VN portfolio.
This acquisition allows us to achieve an even greater focus on the business
performance, for the benefit of all the shareholders of VN“.
