Stockholm, June 7, 2010 — NASDAQ OMX (NASDAQ:NDAQ) announced that NAXS Nordic Access Buyout Fund AB (NAXS), a small cap company within the Financials sector, today starts trading of its shares on the main market of NASDAQ OMX Stockholm. NAXS is the ninth company to list on NASDAQ OMX Nordic markets in 2010, and the twenty-first company to move from First North to the main market. NAXS operates as a fund-of-funds with investments in Nordic buyout funds. The objective is to make the Nordic private equity market accessible for a broader public while offering liquidity through the company's market-introduced shares. NAXS was founded in 2007, when it was also listed on First North. Jenny Rosberg, Senior Vice President at NASDAQ OMX said: “We are pleased to welcome NAXS as an exciting addition to our Financials sector. This is a prime example of how First North can provide the experience and capital growth needed before entering our main market, where NAXS will enjoy liquidity and investor awareness advantages.” Jeff Bork, CEO at NAXS commented, “Our move to the main market will support the company's future development and strengthen NAXS brand name. Moreover, the increased visibility that comes with a listing on NASDAQ OMX will help us expand our ownership base amongst both institutional and private investors.” About NASDAQ OMX The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. is the world's largest exchange company.
