New York Mortgage Trust Declares Second Quarter 2010 Common Stock Dividend of $0.18 Per Share


NEW YORK, June 17, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- New York Mortgage Trust, Inc. (Nasdaq:NYMT) ("NYMT" or the "Company") announced today that its Board of Directors declared on June 16, 2010 a cash dividend of $0.18 per share on shares of its common stock for the quarter ended June 30, 2010. The dividend is payable on July 26, 2010 to common stockholders of record as of July 6, 2010.

In addition, the Board of Directors declared a dividend of $0.50 per share on shares of its Series A Preferred Stock for the 2010 second quarter in accordance with the terms of the Series A Preferred Stock. The dividend will be payable on July 30, 2010 to stockholders of record on June 30, 2010.
