iQ Power AG: RATIO Group Adds ECO Batteries to its Product Line

Zug/Switzerland, 27 July 2010 - iQ Power AG (ISIN: CH0020609688, WKN:
A0DQVL, Symbol: IQPB), the developer and marketer of eco-friendly and
technologically advanced starter batteries for motor vehicles, is pleased
to announce that the RATIO Group from Germany will be adding ECO batteries
to its product line starting with the 2010/2011 battery season. The ECO
batteries will be available in 25 RATIO stores nationwide starting in
September and October. iQ Power AG has strengthened its market position in
Germany through this expansion of its marketing base.
The RATIO Group employs about 2,500 people and consists of retail and
wholesale stores, as well as services companies, which have a total floor
space of 364,000 square meters and generate annual sales revenues of some
EUR 870 million. The group's specialist outlets, which serve both consumers
and major commercial customers, will be enhancing their automotive
accessories product lines through the addition of batteries from iQ Power.
The ECO batteries from iQ Power superbly complement the stock assortment
not only with their innovative and environmentally friendly technology, but
through their outstanding value for the money as well.
