LEMMINKÄINEN CORPORATION PRESS RELEASE 13.9.2010, 10.00 LEMMINKÄINEN TO BUILD HOUSING FOR VVO IN VANTAA Lemminkäinen is to construct four apartment buildings for VVO in the Veromies district of Vantaa. The buildings will comprise altogether 150 rental housing units. The contract is worth approx. EUR 15 million. Construction work at Pyhtäänkorvenkuja 4-6 in Veromies will start in September 2010 and the buildings will be completed in February 2012. Lemminkäinen is already building five apartment buildings comprising 153 rental housing units for VVO on the nearby site of Pyhtäänkorventie 21. That project began a year ago. The emphasis in residential building construction over the past two years has been on rental housing production. During the first six months of this year in Finland, Lemminkäinen has made starts on 422 rental housing units and 323 units in its own residential developments. VVO is Finland´s largest national provider of housing services.
