Seamless Integration with Customers' Health Management Programs

First Affordable Solution for Any Size Work Location

BASKING RIDGE, N.J., Oct. 13, 2010 -- Hooper Holmes (NYSE Amex:HH) today introduced Hooper Holmes OnSite(SM), the first affordable health coaching solution for work locations of all sizes.

Since 2007 Hooper Holmes Health & Wellness has been helping wellness, disease management and managed care companies extend the reach of their health management programs. Expanding into embedded health coaching is in response to requests by clients to assist in increasing engagement in the programs they offer their customers by adding face-to-face interventions.

Competitive Advantage for Health and Care Management Companies

"Hooper Holmes' network of local medical professionals puts us in a unique position to drive engagement into our customers' programs. Hooper Holmes OnSite is the first affordable, face-to-face, on-premises health coaching service for work locations with any number of employees," said Christopher J. Behling, President of Hooper Holmes Health and Wellness.

"Many corporate wellness programs have assumed employees would respond to education and publicity, but more is needed. True engagement means matching the right intervention strategy with the right participant at the right time. Face-to-face interventions deliver results because they combine the best of disease management and lifestyle coaching with a focus on behavior change and motivation," he continued.

Hooper Holmes OnSite is available now as part of Hooper Holmes Health & Wellness' comprehensive suite of services including scheduling support, fulfillment of supplies, blood collection kits, medical screenings, lab testing, and data transmission. Coaching is provided to address lifestyle factors including weight management, nutrition, activity, stress management, smoking cessation, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, high cholesterol, hypertension, and sleep.

Health Champions are Engagement and Behavior Change Specialists

Hooper Holmes' Health Champions receive in-person, professional training. Many are physical therapists, personal trainers and nutritionists. The services they provide include:

Personalized, individual engagement sessions Healthy lifestyle counseling in behaviors, barriers and motivators Worksite assessments Progress reports with measurable results Monthly 'lunch and learn" seminars

"Simply put, people need to be motivated to participate in health management programs. Our Health Champions are trained to help," said Behling.
