HOUSTON, Nov. 9, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Global Geophysical Services, Inc. (NYSE:GGS) appoints Russell Roundtree as Vice President of Technology for Global Microseismic ServicesSM, Inc.
Mr. Roundtree's 25-year career started in surface seismic processing technology, progressed into petrophysics, hydraulic fracturing, and reservoir characterization and most recently, working in microseismic monitoring. Prior to joining Halliburton's Pinnacle organization in 2006, as Fracture Diagnostics Manager where he designed and managed technologies for integrated reservoir monitoring and fracture mapping, he worked for Landmark Graphics in Denver, Houston and Caracas. He earned B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Geophysics from the Colorado School of Mines, where he is currently completing his Doctorate in Petroleum Engineering.
