SUN CITY, CA--(Marketwire - January 31, 2011) - Tower General Contractors Inc. President Nato Flores was injured yesterday morning when a private, twin-engine aircraft he was piloting crashed after an early morning takeoff from Big Bear City Airport in Big Bear, Calif.
Mr. Flores, the aircraft's only occupant, was transported to a Southern California hospital where he is in critical condition. He is expected to make a full recovery.
Tower General Contractors Executive Vice President Alex Guerrero is in charge of operations at the firm during Mr. Flores's recovery.
The aircraft, a Piper Twin Comanche registered to Tower General Contractors, developed engine trouble shortly after takeoff at approximately 7:20 a.m. Sunday, according to local press reports, which stated that Mr. Flores' plane was attempting to return to the airport and crashed after it struck the roof of a house located near the runway.
