Today the board of egetæpper a/s has adopted the accounts for the third quarter of the financial year 2010/11, covering the period from 1st November 2010 to 31st January 2011.
The result before taxation presents a surplus of 11.0 DKK million against a deficit of -3,0 DKK million in the same period last year.
Results for the period 01.11.10 – 31.01.11 (3 months):
- Group turnover increased by 24,5% compared to the same period last year and now amounts to 182 DKK million.
- Contribution margin has increased compared to last year, primarily due to fluctuations of exchange rates on some of our important export markets (GBP, SEK, NOK and CHF).
Results for the period 01.05.10 – 31.01.11 (9 months):
- A turnover of 545 DKK million against 469 DKK million last year, which is an increase of 16%.
- A result before taxation of 29.7 DKK million against 1.3 DKK million last year.
As from 1 May 2010 Bentzon Carpets ApS has been part of the ege group. Of course this has a positive impact on the group turnover, but without including Bentzon Carpets group turnover increased by 8%.
Based on the above, we specify our expectations to the financial year 2010/11 to a turnover of approx. 750 DKK million against our previous announcement of 700-800 DKK million. As to our expectations to the year result before taxation we are making an upward adjustment to 35-45 DKK million against our previous announcement of 30-40 DKK million.
