Traveling to two BYU campuses in Rexburg, ID and Provo, UT, Del Conte's employees Eric Hagberg and Logan Oates (both BYU graduates) conducted a February series of seminars, Q&A sessions and selling-practice sessions for 70 students of horticulture, each followed by interviews with those seeking careers. Pizza parties later topped-off each event.
Eric Hagberg holds a BA degree in horticulture with a design/build emphasis, awarded by BYU-Idaho. Logan Oates graduated from BYU-Provo with a BA degree in Landscape Management. "While it was great to return to our Alma Maters and convey knowledge, the real reward of this outreach was seeing the interest and talent among those about to enter our profession," Eric explained.
