WINNIPEG, MANITOBA--(Marketwire - March 15, 2011) - The Urban Ecology project, a winning project in Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation's (CMHC) EQuilibrium™ Sustainable Housing Demonstration Initiative competition, will celebrate its official opening on March 17, 2011.
The Honourable Steven Fletcher, Minister of State (Democratic Reform) will represent the Honourable Diane Finley, Minister of Human Resources and Skills Development and Minister Responsible for CMHC, at the launch. He will be joined by Menno Peters, Executive Director, Winnipeg Housing Rehabilitation Corporation, the Honourable Kerri Irvin-Ross, Manitoba Minister of Housing and Community Development, Mike Pagtakhan Winnipeg City Councillor , Megan Tate of the Winnipeg Foundation, and Lloyd Kuczek of Manitoba Hydro, along with sponsors and supporters.
