MacAulay-Brown, Inc. Elects Sidney E. Fuchs President and Chief Executive Officer

Recognized Industry Veteran, Thought Leader and Senior Executive to Expand Company's Reach Into the U.S. Defense and Intelligence Communities


DAYTON, Ohio and WASHINGTON, July 26, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MacAulay-Brown, Inc. Fuchs President and Chief Executive Officer effective August 1, 2011. He replaces current MacB President Charles Schwegman, who is retiring as MacB President after more than 14 years in that position. Fuchs brings more than 25 years experience in Intelligence and National Security, Aerospace and Defense, Commercial IT Services and Private Equity with an emphasis on engineering, development, integration and operations of mission-critical programs, systems and technologies.

Prior to MacB, Fuchs was a corporate officer of Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) and held the position of President and CEO of TASC, Inc., a subsidiary of Northrop Grumman that serves the U.S. Defense and Intelligence Community. Under his leadership, revenues grew from $450 million to over $1.2 billion during his tenure. He also served as President of Northrop Grumman Information Technology’s Civilian Agencies Group, a $1.4 billion unit delivering IT services to the Healthcare, Homeland Security, Public Safety and Federal Civilian markets. In addition, he was CEO and a director of ATS Corporation (NYSE Amex: ATSC), a Government IT Services provider serving the Defense and Federal markets. Before joining ATS Corporation, Fuchs was CEO and a director of OAO Technology Solutions (OAOT), a global provider of Managed IT services and solutions, where he significantly increased revenue and expanded market share and led OAOT to be sold to Platinum Equity in 2010.

Fuchs is a former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) officer, having served at domestic and foreign posts and on assignment with the U.S. Air Force (USAF) and the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) and is a graduate of the CIA’s Special Operations and Training School. In 2002 he was nominated by the White House and appointed by the Secretary of Defense to the National Defense University Board of Visitors and in 2008, he was appointed to the Defense Science Board’s Intelligence Task Force. Fuchs holds BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University (LSU) and has completed executive programs at the University of Virginia Darden School, the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School, Harvard University and the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
