PHILADELPHIA, Aug. 10, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Viridity Energy president and CEO Audrey Zibelman announced today the addition of two energy industry experts to Viridity Energy. Frank D. Reinhart, Jr., a leader in energy sales management, has been named vice president of national account sales, and Adje Mensah, a leading expert in smart grid technologies,, has been named director of product management for the company. Both Reinhart and Mensah assumed responsibilities on June 1st.
Reinhart, former vice president of strategic sales at Direct Energy Business, LLC, joins Viridity Energy with over 18 years of experience in the energy sector and over 10 years of sales leadership experience, both at start-up and large national energy companies. He has a proven track record of building successful customer-focused sales teams and helping large national account companies solve complex problems. Prior to his appointment at Viridity Energy, Reinhart led the North American Strategic Sales at Direct Energy, where he and his team generated millions annually in contracted gross margin sales and increased substantially the national account market share.
In his new role at Viridity Energy, Reinhart will lead the development of Viridity Energy's national account market sector. He will also utilize his 15 years of experience working with national account companies to lead the development of customer service values and the customer experience platform. While Reinhart will have an office at Viridity Energy's new downtown Philadelphia headquarters, he will spend the majority of his time traveling to meet with existing and potential customers. Reinhart will report to Mike Young, the Executive Vice President of Sales at Viridity Energy.

Before founding Petra Solar, Mensah initiated and managed the first deployment of integrated solar energy and smart grid solutions for electric utilities as the vice president of business development for Advanced Power Electronics Corporation.
As the director of product management for Viridity Energy, Mensah will lead the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans for the company's new products and service solutions.
