Scott Mewett brings nearly 20 years experience in software development, which includes more than a decade of experience in the design, implementation and management of enterprise class software and services.

Previously a director of engineering at Symantec, he led development efforts for a management application framework deployed at thousands of businesses worldwide and supported by 30 Symantec and other enterprise management software products. Before that, Mewett worked at Altiris, which was acquired by Symantec. He has extensive background in computer systems security, including three years at IBM, and holds multiple U.S. patents relating to network and computer security.

Mewett has a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Computer Systems) from the University of Queensland, Australia and a Bachelor of Information Technology from the Queensland University of Technology, Australia.
