Jonathan Wilkinson Joins BioteQ as Chief Executive Officer


VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Oct. 11, 2011) - BioteQ Environmental Technologies, Inc. (TSX:BQE), a leader in the treatment of industrial waste water, is pleased to welcome Jonathan Wilkinson as Chief Executive Officer. Today, Mr. Wilkinson takes over the role from retiring CEO, Brad Marchant.

Mr. Wilkinson states, "I am excited by the potential of BioteQ. Mr. Wilkinson is a seasoned senior executive with extensive experience in the clean technology sector and in public markets. Mr. Wilkinson has previously worked in leadership roles with Nexterra Systems Corporation, QuestAir Technologies, and Bain & Company. A Rhodes Scholar, Mr. Wilkinson obtained degrees from the University of Saskatchewan, Oxford University and McGill University. Mr. Wilkinson has also completed the Executive Development Program at the Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario.
