Fire does not affect SRV’s plans in Septem City

Espoo, Finland, 2012-01-25 11:19 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- SRV Group Plc   Investor News  25 January 2012

Early on Wednesday morning a fire broke out in Septem City quarter at Ohta district of St. Petersburg in Russia. SRV is part-owner of a block of buildings, which have been leased to local businesses. The fire was contained to a part of industrial property mostly used as a warehouse space, which would have been in any case demolished from the way of a new building.

“The fire primarily affected storage spaces, which are not used by SRV. SRV's St. Petersburg office as well as the Banking Institute, a tenant, remained unharmed, "SRV's Country Director Jussi Kuutsa says.

The fire has not caused any personal injuries. Reason for the fire is not yet known.

SRV has developed the quarter for couple of years and the plan includes construction of retail, office and hotel premises. It is estimated that the fire damage doesn’t’ significantly affect the development of the quarter.
