Harsco Receives Railway Track Maintenance Equipment Orders Totaling More Than $25 Million


CAMP HILL, Pa., March 5, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Global industrial services and engineered products company Harsco Corporation (NYSE:HSC) announced today new U.S. and international orders in its Harsco Rail track maintenance services, equipment and parts business totaling more than $25 million.

The new orders, all for delivery this year and into early 2013, will serve customers in the U.S., Canada and Australia. The orders cover a range of Harsco Rail equipment designed and developed expressly for track surfacing operations, including Mark VI ballast tampers, ballast regulators and track stabilizers. They add to a growing list of orders in Harsco Rail's 2012/2013 production pipeline that reflect the division's increasingly broad North American and global customer base. Harsco Rail is one of the world's largest developers and producers of advanced technology solutions for railway track maintenance, repair and new track construction. The division serves major railway networks, short lines and urban mass transit systems throughout the world.
