Titanic The Experience Hosts Once-in-a-Lifetime Dinner Show to Commemorate the 100th Anniversary of Titanic's Maiden Voyage


ORLANDO, Fla., April 5, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Titanic The Experience, a Premier Exhibitions, Inc. exhibit which reopened in January in Orlando, will host "A Night to Remember" special edition dinner shows throughout all of 2012 in honor of the 100th anniversary of the legendary Ship's maiden voyage with the anniversary commemoration beginning Saturday, April 7 and running through Sunday, April 15.

With the world preparing to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Titanic's sole voyage, it is the ideal time for people of all ages, all over America and across the globe to experience the wonders of the most famous Ship ever to set sail. The unique dinner show invites guests to be participants in one of the most famous dinner parties in history as they celebrate the retirement of the Titanic's Captain E.J. Smith. The dinner show includes a sumptuous five-course meal and a special 100th Anniversary Champagne Toast. Courses are authentic to the time period and a reflection of the courses that were served onboard Titanic and include such delectable dishes as asparagus salad with champagne saffron vinaigrette, roasted lamb with red wine sauce and mint and raspberry filled cake with raspberry drizzle.

Guests will also have an opportunity to explore the Exhibition and experience a reenactment of the disaster. The exhibit includes never before seen artifacts recovered from the wreck site of Titanic, including a watch chain with pearls; telegraph to the main engine room; cooking pot; deck lamp; wine bottle; marble slab with cold water faucet and waste valve, and cut crystal carafe with the flag of White Star Line, the company that owned the iconic Ship. In addition, guests will be awed by a two-ton section of the Ship's hull - the second largest piece of Titanic ever recovered.
