WHAT:
Tanger Outlet Centers is excited to kick off Stanley's Samaritans week and volunteer in the communities we serve! Tanger employees are encouraged each year to get involved and donate their time and service to those in need.
Stanley K. Tanger was best known for his generosity to foundations and programs which supported the fight against breast cancer and offered educational opportunities to our children and future leaders. In his honor, "Stanley's Samaritans" was formed in 2011. During the month of April, Stanley's Samaritans are encouraged to participate in projects which continue to honor and support our founder's interests.
WHEN:
This year, Tanger's corporate headquarters employees in Greensboro are giving back and honoring the memory of Stanley K. Tanger, and roll up their sleeves on Thursday, April 12 and Friday, April 13.
WHERE:
Stanley's Samaritans will have the opportunity to give a few hours of their time to those in need in the Greensboro, NC community (schedule below) for a wide array of service levels.

WHY:
Our founder, Stanley K. Tanger (1923-2010), was a well-known philanthropist who recognized the importance of the company being socially responsible as well. In 2006, he implemented Tanger's Volunteerism Program which supports employee participation in worthwhile projects and organizations within communities where we live and work.
Tanger employees in the field will also become part of the Stanley's Samaritans team and look for ways to help their communities during the week of April 11th, in memory of Stanley K. Tanger.
