Integra Telecom's Indirect Channel Program Recognized by Channel Partners Magazine

Integra Voted a Top 50 Channel Program;

Three Employees Named Top 15 Channel Manager

PORTLAND, Ore., Sept. 13, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Integra Telecom Inc., a provider of fiber-based, business-grade networking, communications and technology solutions, has been voted a Top 50 Channel Program of 2012 by readers of Channel Partners magazine for the fourth consecutive year. In addition, three of Integra's indirect channel managers have been named a Top 15 Channel Manager for their commitment to serving the agent community.

"Each year, Channel Partners readers tell their suppliers and peers which companies have earned their business, and this year is no exception," said Khali Henderson, editor-in-chief of Channel Partners. "Each recipient has earned the demonstrated respect and loyalty of their partners, and we are pleased to once again honor the year's recipients."

Integra's indirect sales program was selected from more than 200 nominees comprised of carriers, resellers, master agencies and hardware and software vendors. This year's Top 50 recipients illustrate the industry's shift from traditional to IP, cloud, unified communications and other bandwidth-intensive services.

Three of this year's Top 15 Channel Managers named are long-time Integra employees, each of whom have previously been honored as Channel Partners Top Channel Managers for their hard work and dedication to the agents they serve:

  • Nickie Beckstead, indirect channel manager, Utah;
  • Gene Sehl, indirect channel manager, Colorado; and
  • Steve Cawley, indirect channel manager, Oregon and SW Washington.

"Integra is committed more than ever to a channel program that enables successful partnerships with a rapidly expanding product portfolio including self-service tools for our agents," said Ken Smith, executive vice president of sales at Integra Telecom. "We're honored to have made the Top 50 Program list for the fourth consecutive year and are proud to have industry veterans like Nickie, Gene and Steve leading our channel efforts and nurturing our agent relationships."

Channel Partners readers, including agents, VARs, dealers, interconnects, brokers and consultants, voted for the Top 15 Channel Managers and Top 50 Channel Program during an online survey taken in July. Recipients of both awards were honored at the fall 2012 Channel Partners Conference & Expo in Orlando, Fla. on Sept. 12.
