BOSTON, Oct. 12, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- According to the Citizens Committee for Safe and Fair Repair, parties on both sides of the Right to Repair issue are urging voters to visit SkipQuestion1.com and learn more about why they should ignore the first ballot question on Election Day.
The Massachusetts legislature passed a legislative solution to the Right to Repair issue this summer that has since been signed into law by Governor Deval Patrick. Despite the fact that Right to Repair is now law and the ballot initiative is no longer necessary, it is too late to remove Question 1 from the November ballot.
According to SkipQuestion1.com, this law ensures a level playing field where all repair shops, independent and franchised dealers alike, can compete for customer business based on reliable service at a fair price.
