AGO AG: Changes to the Management Board

Kulmbach, 19 October 2012: AGO AG Energie + Anlagen (WKN: A0LR41, ISIN:
DE000A0LR415) announces changes to its Management Board.
Hans Ulrich Gruber will resign from his position of Management Board
Spokesman effective as of 31 October 2012 with the agreement of the
Supervisory Board.

This role will be assumed by Dr Friedrich Trautwein from 1 November 2012.
Dr Trautwein has a great deal of experience in successfully managing
companies in the mechanical and plant engineering sectors, most recently
SMT Scharf AG. He has impressively proven his ability to lead companies
along a course of profitable growth following strategic reorientation.
Alongside his new tasks within AGO AG, Dr Friedrich Trautwein continues to
hold further management positions at suppliers in the combined heat and
power plant engineering industry.

The Supervisory Board would like to thank Hans Ulrich Gruber for his
commitment to the company and the work he has done for the Management
Board. This change is coming at a time where AGO AG's strategic
reorientation toward core competencies in plant engineering and service
through the sale of biomass cogeneration plants is almost complete.
