ADP to Postpone First Quarter Fiscal 2013 Webcast and Earnings Release Conference Call Due to Expected Severe Weather

New Date Set for November 1, 2012


ROSELAND, N.J., Oct. 29, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (Nasdaq:ADP) has postponed its scheduled release date for its financial results for the first fiscal quarter ended September 30, 2012 from October 30, 2012 to November 1, 2012 before the opening of the Nasdaq. "The impacts from Hurricane Sandy are expected to be severe along the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast coasts of the United States with likely widespread power outages. We are postponing the release of our fiscal 2013 first quarter results accordingly as we want to ensure that members of the investment community are able to access the event," stated Carlos A. Rodriguez, president and chief executive officer.

ADP also will be hosting a conference call at 8:30 a.m. EDT on November 1, 2012 to discuss the results for the quarter. Carlos A. Rodriguez, president and chief executive officer, Christopher R. Reidy, chief financial officer, and Elena S. Charles, vice president of investor relations, will be participating on the call.
