First Advantage Bancorp Reports 2012 Year End and Fourth Quarter Results

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn., Feb. 1, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- First Advantage Bancorp (Nasdaq:FABK), the holding company of First Advantage Bank, announced net income of $2.4 million for the year ended December 31, 2012, or $0.61 per basic share and $0.57 per diluted share, up 26% from $1.9 million in 2011. Net income for the fourth quarter was $438,000, or $0.11 per common share and $0.10 per diluted share, a decrease of 18% from $530,000 for the fourth quarter of 2011.

Because of the confidence in our strategy, the Board of Directors approved an increase in our quarterly dividend from $0.05 to $0.07 per common share, as announced in January."
