MacAulay-Brown Receives Multiple Award IDIQ Contract from the Army to Provide Chemical and Biological Defense Logistics Support Services


DAYTON, Ohio, Feb. 6, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB), a leading National Security company providing innovative engineering and technical solutions to Defense, Intelligence, Homeland Security and Federal agencies, announced today that it has been awarded a five-year, multiple award, Indefinite-delivery/Indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract by the U.S. ArmyJoint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense (JPEO-CBD).

MacB, which proposed a total price of $77.9 million, is one of nine prime contractors named to the Logistics Domain award. The contract provides for a three-year base period, two one-year option periods and a six-month optional extension period. The Logistics Domain is one of six functional domains awarded. 

Under the terms of the JPEO-CBD Omnibus Program and Engineering Technical Support (OPETS) contract, MacB Gray Enterprise Solutions (GES) will provide performance-based logistics management services and support. The work will be associated with the development, production, fielding, maintenance, sustainment and improvement of all Biological Defense, Contamination Avoidance, Chemical and Biological Medical Systems, Guardian, as well as related Information and Protection Systems.
