Columbia Industries Announces Successful Resolution of Trade Secret Lawsuit Against Entro Engineering Firms


HILLSBORO, Ore., Feb. 11, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Columbia Industries is pleased to announce that it has accepted payment of $1.1 million to resolve a trade secret lawsuit against local engineering firms Entro Incorporated and Entro Industries, and their principals, Shawn and Harlan Smith.

Columbia filed the lawsuit in order to address Entro's unauthorized use of Columbia's intellectual property in two engineering projects during 2011-12. This settlement resolves only Columbia's claims concerning the Entro projects at issue in the lawsuit.
