Ernst & Young Announces the Independent Judging Panel for Florida Entrepreneur Of the Year(R) Awards 2013


TAMPA, Fla., March 20, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Ernst & Young LLP has announced the 2013 independent judging panel for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Florida Program.

"Our panel of nine judges includes a diverse group of highly accomplished individuals from a variety of industries – many of them entrepreneurs in their own right," said Greg Rosica, Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Florida Program Partner. "Many have won the Florida Entrepreneur Of The Year award in the past and understand what it takes to be an innovator and entrepreneur, especially in a challenging economy."

Judges who select the Entrepreneur Of The Year Florida finalists and award recipients are all Florida business leaders, including previous award recipients, leading CEOs and private capital investors. This year's award recipients will be announced at the annual awards gala on June 13 at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach.

Awards criteria

Entrepreneurs eligible for consideration include not only company founders, but also leaders of multi-generation family businesses and transformational public and private company CEOs. Additionally, the nominee's company must be at least three years old (two years old for Emerging category nominees). Self-nominations are encouraged, and there is no fee. The deadline for nominations has been extended to March 22, 2013.
