UniTek Global Services, Inc. to File Form 12b-25 With Securities and Exchange Commission

BLUE BELL, Pa., March 25, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- UniTek Global Services, Inc. ("UniTek" or the "Company") (Nasdaq:UNTK), a premier provider of permanently outsourced infrastructure services to the telecommunications, broadband cable, wireless, transportation, public safety and satellite television industries, today announced that it will file a Form 12b-25 Notification of Late Filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) with regard to its Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2012.

The Company has not yet completed its financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2012 due to an ongoing Audit Committee review of revenue recognition issues regarding certain contracts at its Pinnacle Wireless division. The Company hopes to complete the work necessary for it to file its Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2012 by April 15, 2013, which will be the end of the fifteen-day extension period provided by Rule 12b-25.
