Charles Hensley, Ph.D., Inventor of Zicam(R) Cold Remedy, and Itonis Pharmaceuticals Add Sublingual Spray Application to Anti-Nausea Product

LAGUNA HILLS, Calif., April 16, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Itonis, Inc. (OTC:ITNS) and Charles Hensley, Ph.D., the inventor of the Zicam® Cold Remedy, and founding member of Itonis Pharmaceuticals, are pleased to announce that Itonis Pharmaceuticals plans to offer an oral sublingual spray as a third method of delivery to its recently announced over-the-counter homeopathic nasal spray and nasal swabs for the treatment of nausea.

The Company feels that this will enhance the consumers experience with the product by giving consumers another appealing choice of delivery, especially in the case of children who often have difficulty with the administration of a nasal spray. Since this method of delivery is absorbed sublingually, as with the nasal versions, this product overcomes the limitations of traditional oral ingestion products.

"We are very pleased with the overall progress we have made so far in bringing our anti-nausea product to market. The sublingual method of delivery is a significant milestone and its achievement will make our product a very attractive choice for consumers," said Steve Pidliskey, Itonis Vice President. "Stay tuned for further development."
